For me, things changed in a big way when someone told me I didn’t have to listen to my thoughts.

Being introduced to this concept was a pivotal point in my struggle with binge-and-purge bulimia, depression, and anxiety.

Since then, I’ve been on a continual exploration of what’s true, and what isn’t.

I am not enlightened. I don’t have magic powers. I don’t consider myself “awakened.” I’m not a therapist or medical professional.

I’m a normal, ignorant human with a busy mind that gets stressed out, scared, competitive, and emotional.

But things are somehow better now than they were at one point. More whole.

I “coach” [Ick. I still hate calling it that.] because I love watching people blossom as they de-identify from their thoughts and diagnoses. It’s my favorite thing in the world.

I can’t give you any advice (not good advice, anyway). But I can listen to you in a world where nobody else seems to have the time.

I commonly talk to people with people around the following things:

  • Anxiety/overthinking

  • Freedom from binge-eating/bulimia

  • Body image & confidence

  • Career shifts / burnout

  • Creativity

… but we can talk about anything.

words from clients

“I developed a binge eating habit after a period of restrictive dieting, and it was debilitating. Although the resources I had used up until starting sessions with Becky were extremely helpful and insightful (and were what led me to find her), the habit still seemed to persist, and because I had failed to stop, it truly felt like I was doomed to binge forever.

After just four sessions with Becky, I have experienced a significant change in the way I see my thoughts and emotions. The space between myself and my automatically-generated thoughts widens more and more by the day, I am better capable of consulting my true self during times of difficulty, and I feel a sense of peace and calm knowing I’ll be okay. This is also slowly but surely starting to apply to other aspects of my life, not just the bingeing.

Out of the five therapists/coaches/etc. I’ve had experiences with, Becky has been the most helpful. Firstly, she is knowledgeable: at times when I have an issue or question I feel is unanswerable, she always has a response that is usually both an answer and an open-ended question that guides me towards finding an answer that resonates with me myself. Secondly, she is compassionate: time with her is time you get to be yourself and talk about anything; you can tell she truly cares about you, and about helping you find your home base. Even outside of session times, she is kind, supportive, and responsive.

I really look forward to continuing sessions with her!”

"Becky has been coaching me for over a year and has helped me so much with binge eating and anxiety. I just love how Becky listens and guides... without giving me homework at the end of a session! I never have to white knuckle or willpower my way out of my habits. Instead, our sessions always feel like I've put on a pair of prescription glasses I didn't know I needed. My habits look so different than before. Since our coaching I have a newfound sense of resilience, confidence, and wellbeing. I highly recommend working with her."

“ Becky’s wisdom as she’s guided me to look in a new direction at my binge eating habit has been so valuable. I have tried so many strategies and programs and read ALL the books to deal with this habit, and the paradigm that Becky shares through her coaching is the only approach that has allowed me to feel hopeful about overcoming this. She has a fantastic ability to ask questions that help me see my thoughts and challenges in new ways, and our sessions have given me so many insights. If you’re feeling stuck and want to see changes, the best way to do that is with an experienced guide. Becky is the perfect person to point you in a completely new, more peaceful and resilient direction.”
